After three long months in which all restaurants in Barcelona were forced a to close due to the Covid19 pandemic, La Xarxa is back! The Varela Group (owner of Casa Varela and L’estupendu restaurants) had big plans in mind for the return of this mediterranian restaurant that now opens in a new location, more spacious and with terrace, very close to the previous one.

«We return with the same desire and enthusiasm to offer the highest quality and the best product in Barcelona…»

The success of this little restaurant before the lockdown was definitely its gastronomic offer based on seasonal first quality products. Regular customers will be happy to hear that food at the new location of La Xarxa remains as good as we remember, good product and dishes full of flavor now in a more comfortable space. And of course the restaurant is lead by the orders of Carlos Allue, the young Catalan chef with a good palate and a lot of talent, who will be on everyone’s lips in the Barcelona gastronomic scene.

From Monday to Saturday, from 13pm to 16pm and from 8pm to 23pm, we can now return to La Xarxa restaurant to enjoy its famous Papas Arrugás with Mojo picón (wrinkled potatoes with sause), El Delta del Ebro oysters, cockles, tomato variety salad, ugly omelette over coca with pan con tomate bread with tomato, seafood rice, Galician solomillo meat with Café de Paris butter, its «dishes to share» highlighting the prawn tacos with pico de gallo and ají mayonnaise and the chicken taco… And a few seasonal additions on the menu such as (platos…) And to finish a good meal, nothing better than a good dessert! Bread with melty chocolate, extra virgin olive oil and Maldon salt and the homemade cheesecake are still the number ones. Bon appetit!

«We want our clients to continue enjoying…
